Please read my previous comment of 2nd May.

Myself and some friends visited this restaurant for a few drinks recently and was impressed that we decided to return tonight.

The premises was packed and there was nowhere to sit and therefore we were offered the opportunity to sit at the back, outside of the premises, where pedestrians were walking by. It seemed rather comfortable so we decided to stop here until a table became available inside later on.

We sat down and it became very apparent to me that there were a large group of teenagers who were also bedding down for the evening. IT WAS VERY EVIDENT THAT THEY WERE ALL UNDERAGE. However, I was horrifed to see them ordering and being served alcoholic drinks. I commented to the waitress that they appeared very young and if they had shown I.D. I told her how serious it was and the manager should be informed. She obviously acted on what I said because within minutes a man came outside and started to challenge their age, saying that they were not 18. One girl said she was but the rest of them began to yell that they weren't drinking anyway. NO I.D WAS ASKED FOR. He soon sauntered off as they guzzled caiparinhas and beers merrily.

Within an hour ANOTHER group of teenagers came along, completely unrelated to the first bunch, again looking very young but they too were served with no problem and at the same time a member of staff came along with those long chalice things which they all proceeded to smoke in between breaks from their cigarettes.

As if things couldn't get worse, once the drink started to take effect, they started to holler and swear and insult each other. Then all of a sudden a bottle of Lambrini came out and they guzzled that too. Can you believe that they actually bought their own cheap booze to make a night of it ?????

I could go on and on but I am sure any reader gets the gist of what I am trying to say. Myself and my friends could not hear ourselves speak. I had to make this comment because I am shocked that a licensed premises would be so foolish to serve children alcohol.

As for us, we had our drinks and quickly took our leave. I'm not sure if I'll ever visit this place again.

Positive this place was the cause of some nasty food poisoning. If I had a receipt I'd consider speaking to Environmental Health!

As a fish lover I was very excited to go to such a restaurant, the food was ok, but a starter of chewy mussels made me ill, very ill for three days later. A word of warning, no one I know has had a great starter, main and dessert from them only 2/3.

Not a very good start! The hostess was extremely arrogant and rude. We were seated next to the kitchen and asked for a quieter table, but she did not want to move us. We contemplated going to Royal China next door instead. Only then did she find us another table. There were clearly many other tables available and no reservations as it was the end of the night.

Once we settled down and had gone through the menu I saw an unexpected visitor on the wall behind me (the long seat against the wall). A cockroach came crawling by and snuck into the lady's jacket sitting next to me. I hope that he did not end up sleeping over at her place.

The food was good - not much to say here.

The wine recommendation was great - we had the Malbec Mandele.

Atmosphere - was nice.

At the end of our stay it took the waiter 10 minutes to bring us the bill, even though the restaurant was now half empty. Needless to say, not a good overall experience.

I went to this restaurant for the first time and got completely sick the same night after eating prawns. i am sure they were off, and although i called the following day,to let them know, i was told it was impossible and that basically i was lying...! well...i can tell you i will never go there again and will let people know...and if you do feel adventurous and go, stay away from the prawns...

I went to have lunch there with my boyfriend on Valentines day. It is the worst restuarant i have ever been to. It was very bad, the food was raw and the place was infested with cockroaches!

4 of us ate here on a bank holiday. What a pile of s**t. The food was, well, rubbish. The waiter was only just pretending so that he could secure a decent tip, but guess what, we didn't leave one. I didn't like his attitude, he snatched the credit card from a friend when we didn't include the tip and i just didn't like the Italian fool.

Not a review as such. Didn't get the chance to sample any food or drink as we were refused entry again. My Friend and i ( Both being BLACK) was quite catorgorically refused entry on this basis. While waiting in a queue of about 12 people, 9 being WHITE, A Black man, who was about 3 or 4 places in front of us was turned away, and to our astonishment, we were turned away as well. We were dressed appropriately and could not understand why. I won't be returning to this place as the racism shown that evening was so obvious and blatant.

If anyone else has experienced any kind of Discrimination at this Venue, please inform as many people as you can. This is 2007 not 1977.

The epitome of Shoreditch / Hoxton service! The fact that this disorganised, shambolic, unmanaged hell hole is so popular is testament to the brainless sheep, Shoreditch tw*t customers that inhabit this vacuous, self obsessed excuse for a drinking and dining establishment.

Nothing about this place can redeem it, the staff are amongst the most arrogant, dismissive, unhelpful 'too cool for school' morons around. There is never a manager in site, it takes hours to get served, it's permanently filthy (would hate to see what the kitchen looks like, and really wonder how they pass health and safety) whenever there is a problem the staff adopt a 'yeah and what do you want me to do about it' attitude, it's just bad from start to finish.

Last time I went a bartender was moaning about a new rule that they had to smoke outside, of course you should you idiot! Do you really think I want to see you chuffing a fag and then making me a drink!

Avoid unless your are the kind of person that likes self flagellation.
