Baltic

Visited Baltic last night and it was a mixed (dry) bag.

Food.....Dry bread to start. Then dry gravadlax and a slow (and overcooked) lamb. Neither of which was satisfactory. However my dining companion had a fish main dish and this was perfectly cooked.

Service....Shabby at best. Downright rude at worst. The waitresses and staff were under the impression they were the most important people in the room and it was a bit of a insult for them to have to explain anything on the menu. Obviously a 12.5 % charge was included automatically.

Shame as the setting is nice (except the bathrooms which are awful).

Not dreadful but won't be back when there are so many better places in the neighbourhood
