The Harbour

Service is wonderful, though the sight of the restaurant manager making the waitresses work to 110% capacity by directing orders is not a pleasant sight. The food is good, and the environment is a bit bland. Not the place for a romantic evening, nor any special occasion. OK for an evening out.

Hard Rock Cafe

The portions are huge - that is because it is an American venue. Service - superb. The restaurant is 'loud' and not the place if you are seeking a quiet evening.

Palm Court Brasserie

I went to this restaurant with a friend after reading the reviews on this site, and we were both impressed.

This restaurant is idea for a romantic dinner - there are dim lights and candles.

The food was well cooked, prepared and presented. The portions were generous, and the service was very good.

I'll definately be back to this restaurant.

Oriel

I have reviewed this restaurant previously and an writing again to defend Oriel against the comments made by 'A Girl'.

Oriel and McDonalds are not comparable, and if one is used to purchasing fast food meals, then of course Oriel will appear costlier. Oriel is a superb venue and the comments made by 'A Girl' are non-specific and irrational.
