Yasar's

Very informal Turkish eatery opposite the Standard music venue! Do not be fooled by the kebab shop exterior which it is, leading through the back you will amazed to discover a very comfortable licenced restaurant serving traditional lamb and chicken dishes with rices, salads at very fair prices. Expect to pay around £20 -£30 for 2 courses for a pair of diners! Child friendly we even ate there one New Years Eve, very good value for money informal dining, good healthy food!

Cypriana

Have been to Cypriana many times and we have always enjoyed eating there! I can recommend the never ending Mezze for the hungry, Lamb kleftico is gorgeous likewise the beef stifado! Informal and very friendly and often frequented by local Cypriots too ( always a good sign ). In the summer months there is a small garden to the rear where you can eat, they also have a set deal on Sundays woth checking out! George and his family will ensure a pleasant meal i'm sure, one of my favourites!

E10 Entertainment Venue/ Bistro/ Bar

Well we had a good night here indeed , we didnt spare the horses on that particular night I think the bill came to around a £100 for both of us including drinks etc

Entertainment was a Rod Stewart cover, great, service great & friendly. The food was acceptable ( just ) its mass catering so don't expect a dining experience more of a wedding banquet. I must say we did thoroughly enjoy the evening though!

Savoir Faire

One of the better restaurants in the West end small and intimate, lok out for special deals ideally. We have been twice and were suitably impressed on both times. Especially downstairs you would think you were in a Parisian bistro. Ideal for couples whom like casual dining in romatic mood or even good business lunches, enjoy hope it keeps up the standards!

Star of India

Well regardless of previous reviews this restaurant constantly wins praise and prizes from local paper. Great food and special offers, has a sister take away called the Zaffran (Chingford ) which is excellent too.

Kemer

Have been once at lunch time and had the current special offer at the time, which may have since changed? That is irrelevant because the food and service were excellent for the price, excellent value for money.

I will be going again, perhaps to try it in the evening, it's very informal and casual dining but I strongly approve.

The Punjab

If you are drunk & visiting London from Essex for the day then this is the curry house for you! Ideal for the O Neils pub you have staggered from and can't be bothered to look for a good place!

La Cafeteria

Visited on Sat evening we have been before so we are repeat custom. We had cherry tomato bruchetta, salmon roulade for starters served very quickly with a smile. Our waiter was perfect and saw to our every need without hovering as some do, main courses we opted for fish dishes. A large pan fried cod with spicy vegetable served with boiled rice which was flavoured by the veg sauce excellent! Nicci had haddock again hers was fresh and tasty cooked to perfection, I dont normally do deserts but the food is too good not to be tempted! All in all our 3 course meal for 2 with bottle of Rose wine and a Pironi came to a fraction over £50 and far better than anything in the West End for three times that amount!

EXCELLENT KEEP IT UP!
