Baltic

I had heard that the baltic was the place to go for eastern european food, and they were right! If only i could find a restaurant like this at home... on entering the restaurant, we were seduced a a beautiful cocktail waitress into having a summer cocktail at the bar - we were then led into the main dining area, which really is a superb space.

the blinis were excellent and I had the lamb which was exrtraordinarily succulent. The wine was very good value, and the desserts looked good, although I confess I had no rooom left.

The atmosphere was buzzing and the service was attentive and sleek. I will certainly be back.
