Cha Cha Moon

A great place for a quick bite with friends.

They have long tables with benches which means at busy times you literally sit elbow to elbow with the people next to you, and it's very difficult to get out if you're sitting in the middle of one of the benches!

The prices are superb for the quantity you get and considering the central location.

Staff are courteous but sometimes it is difficult to get their attention. Also food seems to come out in a random order so one of you may get yours 10 minutes before the everyone else.

The food is very tasty. Good variety of noodle dishes, none which have disappointed me thus far.

Great for lunches or a quick bite with friends after work.

Tapas Brindisa (Soho)

I have been here twice and it appears they change their menu according to the season.

Both times I had a very enjoyable experience.

The highlight has to be my second visit when I had Iberico pork wrapped in aubergine.

It had a hint of cardamon that wafted through my senses as I bit into the juicy piece of meat - it was so delicious I thought I would scream!

The interior is cute and cosy, with an open kitchen at the back where you can see the Spanish chefs at work.

The staff are very courteous and attentive.

Highly recommended for groups of friends or couples.

Afghan Kitchen

Absolutely delicious.

The interior is more like a takeaway or sandwich bar with a few seats. Its not somewhere you can relax but the food is absolutely delicious.

The lamb with yoghurt (it was like a curry) might have been one of the most delicious thing I have ever eaten. The lamb was soft and juicy - it almost melted in my mouth!

Other gorgeous items were the pumpkin and yoghurt and the aubergine and yoghurt. Both very slightly spicy.

Their menu is very limited but the items are very cheap and filling. The staff were friendly and since it is such a small place, getting their attention was not an issue.

Great place. Cannot wait to go back!

Tas Pide

I've been here twice and have enjoyed the experience both times.

They serve an array of what I can only describe as Lebanese pizzas with various exotic toppings.

The portions are generous, and both times we were offered a free bowl of soup as well as the standard olives and bread.

Our favourite was a desert item; dried apricots filled with home-made cream.

The service is quick and the staff are courteous.

The location is a bit unfortunate, being located in between London Bridge and Southwark, and if you're a slow walker like myself it takes 15 minutes from either station to walk there (no buses). I advise taking a map!

Byblos Harbour

I highly recommend this place.

The food was delicious and beautifully presented. I loved that each dish was accompanied with colourful vegetables and salads. The aubergine humus with pomegranate seeds and the lamb dishes were especially wonderful.

The set meals are good value for money, but I recommend sharing a few dishes between your party so you get to try a little bit of each!

Service was wonderful. The staff had good knowledge of the food and were very courteous and attentive. Bearing in mind we were basically the only customers there however so this may change at busy times.

The location is awful to get to unless you live on Canary Wharf. I printed out a map from google but it was totally useless and I had to ring the restaurant to get directions. The staff however came out to find us and took us back to the restaurant! (It happened to be located on the other side of the building that faces the street its meant to be on!)

Once you get there it is a lovely place. Swanky interior with a glass front that allows you a beautiful view of the waterfront.

If you go, be sure to print out the map on their website and take their phone number with you!
