Mandarin Kitchen
I first went to the Mandarin Kitchen in the late 90s after Andrew Lloyd Webber recommended the seafood in his review column. I've been back many times over the years but I have to say that it's not as good now as it was back then.

Yming
My favourite Chinese restaurant in London, bar none. The menu is varied and a million miles away from the fare offered in the tourist traps of Chinatown. Friendly, unpretentious and welcoming. The owner makes you feel as if you're always remembered even though I'm sure it can't be so!

Wahaca (Westfield)
We'd eaten in the original West End Wahaca before and enjoyed the experience, so after Sunday shopping the Westfield branch was a natural choice. The food was disappointing but our pink-haired waitress was a delight. Overall I rather felt that the place was coasting on the reputation of the main branch and could be a lot better for the price.
