Konstam at the Prince Albert

We went as a party of five to try out Oliver Rowe's cooking, most of us fairly sceptical about the concept of sourcing ingredients within the M25. As it turned out we were united in loving both the cooking and the quality of the ingredients. We had a fabulous meal - hot chicken liver salad was exemplary, the livers pink, tender and juicy. Pan fried Canvey Island dab with parsley butter - very fresh, and absolutely great. Red gurnard soup with a type of pasta - very subtle and delicious, Roast skate with barley - absolutely wonderful, Sevenoaks beef, lavender ice cream - I could go on and on - we couldn't praise this place highly enough. And the theatre of the kitchen, as you can see all your food being cooked in front of you - magic.

We will all definitely be going back
