Canteen

Went for brunch this Sunday and was really pleased with this new addition to our local restaurants.

The service was great and the brunch was delicious. Although they were very busy we didn't feel rushed at all.

Can't wait to go there for dinner!

New Tayyab

This is one of my favourite Indian/Pakistani restaurants. It's noisy and often quite crammed, but this is just a testament to how good the food is!!

I can especially recommend the mixed grill starter and their biryani (Friday special) - DELICIOUS! Tayyabs easily beats most of the places in nearby Brick Lane.

It's BYO, so no extortionate wine/beer prices.

The service is adequate - it's what to expect really from a restaurant that's as busy (popular) as this one.

It's an excellent restaurant for a group of friends, but be prepared to queue for a bit (even if you booked).

Miyako (formerly Miyabi)

One of our absolute favourites. It's not cheap, but it's good quality - excellent sushi - and really friendly staff. We go there far too often!!
