Sushinho

A very decent addition to rather bland Chelsea.

Last night was our second time and the food was much better than our first visit. Seems that the restaurant still needs to find its consistency (or maybe we just had the wrong dishes first time around)). Ordered the sushino platter for starters, which was wonderful. Beautifully fresh fish and some unique creative rolls. Then had the halibut (possibly the best fish dish I have had in some time), the seabass (excellent dish, the dish that really brought us back), and the grilled prawns (huge delicious prawns). The sides of cassava chips was also great and reminded us of our holidays in south america.

Downsides would probably be the meat dishes we had the first visit, the pork belly was a little dry (slightly overcooked) and the wagyu wasn't very special (but then again it was quite cheap for wagyu, under £30). If they can get the meat dishes right (odd for a brazilian restaurant), then they really would really be onto something

As for service, it was fine. Not the best but everyone was very friendly and helpful. As long as it's not as cold or machine-like as Nobu, I am happy. Prices are also very fair for a restaurant in such an expensive area.
