Asakusa

Went to this authentic restaurant the 31st of march during my hubby birthday. I would say it is okay restaurant.. Even though , the food is alright and edible, does not gave me a 'wow' factor. Sushi is quite small portion. And went on ordering food as following other reviewers said. In comparison with Ten Ten tei restaurant, i think ten ten tei better than this one. Just my opinion!

Yauatcha

I am quite regular customer in Yauatcha.... Last year went 4th round afternoon tea.. and occasionally the best dim sum in central london... with unique taste and flavour.. Not other regular chinese dim sum. I agree with other customer reviews slightly on the expensive side, I am really sad that the afternoon tea is not going to have in this posh place.. Shame really.. I will love if they bring it back.. Now is recession period, so i have not been this place for 8 months now.!!.

Dotori

Went last 3 weeks ago, i enjoyed it.. .My hubby and I had a great time.. We are the 2nd guest.. not many ppl on sundays.. soo that why i chose to come on sunday.. less busy and i afraid that the foods not be 'special' .. It wasnt reasonably price.. maybe we ordered too much food. .

Lastly, would i come again? Yes i will..

The Albany

Went last 2 weeks ago, A large group of 10 adults and 3 toddlers and 2 babies, everything was accomodating for us .. high chairs etcs.. Food.. excellent.! We had promotion lunch set. . 2 course £18 and 3 courst £21.. I was quite surprised that to food is so much better than narrow in canary wharf. and deco was pleasant.. Gosh , the birthday cakes are well decorated and beautiful presented. .Would come again.. Definitely!!

Awana

I would not criticise too much! As a malaysian living in London, my husband and I wanted to try ' Malaysian authentic food ( as we around the area). After ordering some food, my roti canai okay, could have taste better if slightly crisp. Satay was okay .. Overall our foods was okay.. and edible..

Overall , i find the food portion is quite small , maybe because it is a high fine dining restaurant..We have a taste of london card.. Luckily with 50% offer..our bill is not that expensive.. If you enjoy malaysian food, it is quiet restaurant and nice decor.. excellent for couples and families..

North Pole Piano Restaurant

went here for my birthday last Sunday. There was 14 of us and we had the private red room in the restaurant. It looks like just refurbished since my last visit and looks very nice.The menu was £14.95 for 2 courses and we all had a roast which was very good. All of us had a great time chatting and service is excellent as well.. Decor was pleasant and ambience. . Love it!! Went down to the bar after and heard a wicked band and was told that the pianist . It was a brilliant day and highly reccommend this place.

Ukai (Soho)

Went last week, I will give this place 0 stars I would. Went tonight on the Groupon offer - £40 worth of sushi for £16 (prepaid).

First of all, My partner and I went in and the decor is quite ambience.. but unfortunately there is only 2 waiters.. We have given a choice . .salmon or vegetarian platter.. To my surprise, the platter contains 2 small tiny pieces of salmon nigiri and 2 sashimi and 2 salmon maki. As the picture shown, in groupon website, .. it was massive lots of it!! Service is slow, not asked whether we want the cocktails.. waited and waited.. I dun know whether to blame the waiter as the other waitress was doing the cocktails drinks.. I guess we had the coupon and maybe they prefer serving customers who are paying full price.

Despite it being a sunday lunch and being there for a hour for free 4 cocktails and a small platter customers a, it seemed they didn't really want to deal with us. The restaurant is a con, the voucher is a con, the service is rubbish and I would never go there again..even if someone paid me.

mogul indian restaurant

Went out last night with a group of my friends ..I am indian food lover, to me, edible only and nothing great.... Nan bread is good ..I felt that it was not excellent food and service is ok..The ambience is gloomy and hot.. Luckily , i was treated by a friend.. I would not go back again !!

Blueprint Cafe

I had a lunch my sisters and it was a nice experience. Ambience is great with tower bridge and river thames nearby!! . Food is okay .edible .. but very reasonable price for 4 ppl. Each of cost us £20 for 3 course meal!!. Plus free a glass of wine each..Perfect!!Dessert is the best.. especially the chocolate brownies with ice cream.

Cafe East

I have booked for table 5 people.. with 3 toddler high chair.. Great food and service. Crowded after 8 pm.. It is great that, it is kinda near to my house ( by car 20 mins ride) My only criticism is limited choices of starter.. I still prefer Song Que restaurant.. more cheaper prices compare with this restaurant. Bill came £82 pounds.. as we order 5 courses of meal and 3 starter.. and 5 drinks..

Sitaaray

I went last 1 half year ago and i found this indian restaurant was excellent. Even though, I am a chinese and i have been alot of indian restaurants and i love indian cuisine. Great kebab and it was buffet food but staffs were serving food to your table(we are a group of 10). Decor was different , indian bollywoods actor/actress pictures and service and staff were good.. Overall, i have no complains. I would advise my indian friends to try here. I would definitely come again.

Roka (Canary Wharf)

I had a great time in Roka in central last 3 years ago, so i want to try out new opening in canary wharf. Hmm Not bad but the service by the staff who serve us was okay -no smiley face/ friendly and the food especially the king crab was excellent. The decor was average.. My only dissapointment is they don't have a baby changing room.. i have to change my baby on the floor. - ladies toilet. Thank god, they have high chair.

It was Wednesday and lots of office attire ppl and noisy atmosphere. Overall it s ok for gathering with friends.

The Narrow by Gordon Ramsay

Hmm what can i say? i love gordon ramsay books and love watching him in kitchen nightmare tv series but i was kinda disappointing with this restaurant as i think the standard had dropped. I was invited to attend a friend birthday party in a private room. My starter crab cocktail not bad.. My main course is banger and mash.. The sausage was salty ..Not good enough. Thankfully, the birthday cake (provided by them) - chocolate mousse was really good..

Average food and nice decor.

Isarn

I do enjoy nice evening dinner with my husband and family.. I find the food portion is kinda small and the food is expensive.. The decor and atmosphere is nice and dark .. luckily they have a candle lit in each tables.. Nice for special occasion but I think i will not regularly visit this restaurant..

Overall the food is ok.. not excellent.
