Metz

My husband and I went to Metz on Saturday for a birthday dinner. Living locally it is nice to know that you don't have to go to central London to enjoy a good and upmarket meal.

The staff was attentive and the food superb. The portions are good sized, maybe a little on the large side. When it came to dessert we only manage to share one.

The only downside: the restaurant was nearly fully booked and it was quite noisy as there is nothing in the room to absorb the sound (wooden flooring, no soft furnishing)

Nevertheless we will return.
