Bank Westminster

I had already dined at its sister company in Aldwych and soanticipated it would be good. On a cold December night, we were in need of post concert food. famous We were not disappointed. The starters were fine and the fois gras my companion had deliciously rich. My main course was fish and chips, a benchmark for my opinion of such restaurants. It was pretty much perfect and the portion size was more than gererous. The mushy peas were excellent, the chips sublime. Good honest

food much improved, which to me is a recipe for success. Service was also just right adn attentive without annoyingly intrusive. Too full for dessert, I shall come back for what looked like tempting treats. My only gripe, and it is a small one,is that I like a small but expensive chocolate with my coffee. All in all a treat and worth going a little out of the way. The twinkling lights of the conservatory and view over the garden were also worth getting a table for and i shall return for the cocktails at the longest bar in London.
