It was the best food i have ever eaten. It takes long to be served but you receive delicious food.Especially puddings are great. Some members of staff look unexperienced for this kind of restaurant which has a reputation of being the oldest restaurant in London. It s definitely worth the money you pay for their perfect food. Also ,there s a dress code and you need to switch off your mobiles, but you might be served by perky waiters.

Shish Willesden

Another good food but bad service restaurant. It takes ages for them to serve the food. When I ve been there last time ; even people were served who came after us but we had to wait almost 45 minutes for kebab dishes for 2. When I asked nicely to a staff about the whereabouts of our food ,he almost told me off with an angry face.Besides, food is nice but not perfect, meat comes cooked too much and dry. Most off all 12.5% service charge is too much for that kind of restaurant.

Silom Thai

Food is definitely nice and tasty. Restaurant is neat and tidy, I believe their kitchen is clean, too. I often eat in silom village and have never found anything wrong with its cleanliness. However, staff are terrible. I doubt they know English. If you ask something special to be served, they never make it because they aren't able to understand. And another awful thing about silom village is their understanding of booking. Although you book a table during busy hours ,you cant find a table when you arrive there. Because they never ask arriving people about their booking, they just guess they are the right people who made the booking and at the end you are the one who is leaving the restaurant or waiting 45 minutes to have a seat even you made a booking. Also staff are unaware of each other, when you tell them you are waiting for your friends and ask them to save the side table, they say ok and another member of staff gives away the table to someone else. They really make me annoyed every time I go there, that s why i just go there when I m hungry rather than gathering there for a nice dinner with lots of friends. But it s cheaper comparing with other restaurants, does that mean we cant expect good service when we pay less?

And the place is not for nonsmokers, you can smoke but no air condition.
