Stef's Italian
We booked ahead on a Saturday night but after arriving early were accommodated with no problem. The mains and starters were reasonably priced and generous in portion size, however the prices of the anti pasti course put us off trying any. Our food was very tasty and fresh, service was quick and pleasant and we'd recommend this as a good italian.

Came here on an early evening. staff were very friendly and attentive and the food we had was very tasty if a bit overpriced (we've had better food for cheaper) but would reccommend people to go here if they're in the area.

The Fire Station
we went here and ate from the pre theatre menu. Friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere (although go much later in the evening and you risk being surrounded by drunk people at the bar). The food was O.K. but nothing to write home about and overall we'd rather go to other restaurants in the area over here.

Ed's Easy Diner (Soho)
Went here on a friday night and although the atmosphere was buzzing and we loved the retro american feel (complete with juke boxes), all in all we felt it was quite overpriced and wasn't really the tastiest. For some reason as well the waiters were insistent we didn't sit outside despite the bouncer allowing us to sit there and giving us all menus. If your looking for really great food then this isn't the place but if your looking for a fun, lively (if slightly overpriced) place to go with friends then this will be fine...and the milkshakes are very nice.

Jerk City
really like carribbean food and this was nice however we felt it was slightly overpriced consdiering we've had equally as nice food in Brixton market for far less money. However we understand that this is the West End and it's nice being able to get carribbean food when out on Oxford Street or soho...also must be noted that the service was extremely fast!

Waterloo Bar and Kitchen
really nice food, nothing flashy but our food (i had duck my girlfriend had lamb) was really well cooked and very tasty. We went at about 9 on a saturday night and there were only 2 other couples in the place which we found strange as we both left very satisfied and will definitely go back again....

Franco Manca (Brixton)
Absolutely lovely pizza, the dough is so good and the whole place is really great value, so much better (and cheaper) than equivalent chain pizza restaurants. Will definitely go back....oh and the cloudy lemonade is a must.
