After living opposite Whits for 7 months, I've finally managed to go and it was brilliant.

Great, well priced food, friendly service. Will be making the long journey back there soon!

Chez Patrick

This is just round the corner from where is live, so have become quite a regular.

I love it. Very friendly service, brilliant, properly French food, and a good wine list.

One of my favourite restaurants in London.

Angelus

Very surprised by the other reviews, as we ate here on Saturday night and it was brilliant. My dad has been here a few times, and love it as well, so took me for my birthday.

Service was good, albeit with the slightly aggressive floor manager hustling the waiting staff.

The food was superb. Foie gras creme brulee to start was amazing.

All in all a very good meal, and will be recommending to all of my friends.

Chicago Rib Shack

19th November - Went is a group of 8 and had a brilliant time.

Great food, good service, have never eaten so much meat in my life!!

We all had a great time, so would absolutely go back!

Hereford Road

Brilliant food, good portions, charming service, great value for money.

All in all a really good restaurant. Slight lack of atmosphere in the lower seating area, try and get a booth in front on the kitchen if you can.

Sahara Restaurant

Very good place to eat. Really great food, and also perfect and entertaining service!

Definitely worth the trip up to St Johns Wood.

The Oak

I have been here a few times, as it's very close to my flat. The food and atmosphere is brilliant, however the service is very poor. I usually give places the benefit of doubt and don't really judge on one visit, especially when the food is so good, but on my 4th visit and the service is still bad.

It is such a simple thing to get right, but a couple of the waitresses treat you like they are doing you a favour by serving you!

Like I said, the food is great, service bad, bad enough to make me not want to go again.

The Cow

Excellent. I love just round the corner from here and it is a great place to grab a casual bite to eat. The food is really very good, I had on of the best fish broths that I have ever had, and the strawberry cheese cake and delicious.

One bad point, the service is slow, and the waitress that served us had very poor english, which normally wouldn't be a problem, however she simply didn't understand anything that we were saying to her.

But on the 2 occasions that I have been now I have been very inpressed. Next time I'm definaintly going to have one of the amazing looking fish platters

The Cow

Went there last night for the first time, and it was great! The mallard took a little while to come but once it did it was excellent! The platters looked amazing!! Luckily it's just round the corner from me, I will definitely go again!

Maggie Jones's

I love this place, go here almost weekly with my partners parents. The service is alway great, the food is simple, but never anything other than brilliant and you just can't beat the atmosphere!!

It a touch expensive, but mine and my partners family love it!!

Oyster mushroom rocket salad, steak and mango casserole, lemon sorbet and a a lot of the house red!! Alway a winner!!!

Le Cafe Anglais

Took my girlfriend there on Friday the 30th of October, and had a great time. I dont think that I've been to a resturant with as good of an atmosphere as this one in a long time.

The service could have been a little faster, but the food was very good, as was the wine, and the waiters who served us very friendly.

We both loved it, and would definantly go back there again.
