Locale (Blackheath)

Booked on a busy pre-Christmas Thursday evening and shown immediately to our seat. Great atmosphere and good introduction to the venue.

Raviloi starters was perfectly cooked but penne slightly too al dente. Mains excellent - wild boar and swordfish steak cooked to perfection.

Interesting fusion of sides with broccoli with chilli and mint and a beetroot combination, both worked well and very tastey.

Service attentive and quick.

Piped music bloody awful... It's a large room with high mounted Bose speakers that just couldn't fulfill their requirements. No base or mid-range. The music was loud but sounded like I was in a bath. Any improvement would be welcome!
