Finesse
Finesse situated in the Kingston Rotunda is easy to find and makes a good place to visit before catching a film. If you're in a rush, the food is ready for chowing down.
There are very few buffets in this country that can boast such a range and even for a chinese buffet, there is plenty on offer. About 40 dishes including crispy duck with all the trimmings, teppenyaki and even chips on all you can eat.
The food is excellent value for such a variety serving yourself starter, main course with sides and dessert but one might be stung with the price of drinks, but is not higher than what you might expect.
The actually venue itself is bland, with few decorations which express little effort but maybe the whole grand design is to give you that clean tidy impression. It's not intimate, not stylish nor comforting often making you feel cold and in a work cafeteria.
I would suggest this place for a good value fill, with a friendly bunch or even on your lonesome, not really a place for celebrations or dates. If you fancy something of the orient and lots of it you are in the right place.

Henry's Cafe Bar (Covent Garden)
Henry's being right on top of Covent Garden makes this a good and easy place to meet. Limited outside seating but a spacious and snazzy interior, this venue is ideal for small parties and couples with a vibrant atmosphere. The outside can be deceiving to how large this place really is, inside showing off a oval gallery over looking the lower ground floor.
They have a good value menu, selection of starters and typical mains which include various steaks, burgers and pastas with limited vegetrian options. Childrens catering seemed nonexistent but Henry's is more for the mature drinking age groups.
Food is better than expected, and more than generous, the classic fish and chips not fitting on the already large enough plate adding to the value. There is a wide range of cocktails, wines and sparking wines/champagnes here with your usual branded lagers on tap.
Service is very good, staff seemed happy to work here and could not be more helpful getting everything that we required. Unfazed the staff work rigorously serving the busy eatery.
Found this a great venue to meet and greet people and share a lunch or dinner with, it's not amazing but for what you pay for, it's damn good and would recommend more for small groups than dating couples.

Maxwell's
Maxwell's situated nicely inbetween the market and the tube station offers a groovy, buzzing atmosphere with the american touch. Classic decor, ambient lighting and above average volume AOR music gives this venue a vibrant feel upon entering.
The menu offers much from the grill with the typical choices including sharing platters, salads and burgers. Few Vegetrian options available and a childrens menu that seems to cover every parent's need, including a doodle page.
The service is fast and efficient, staff being friendly and helpful but nothing that stands out as exceptional that a restaurant like this might display, still there is nothing bad to say about that.
Food was good, well presented and generous portions, however even with the good portion still might be a little over priced for what you get starters being £5-£6 and main courses all about £10+ on average.
The place has a great atomsphere and would be a good place pre-show dinner or shopping trip lunch but would visit during the evening more so because of the nice nightlife aura it has. Maybe best for an easy going foursome or small group.
