I'm wondering whether I've been to the same restaurant as other reviewers, as my experience here was so poor I vowed never to return. The service was efficient enough, but the staff were unknowledgable, and prices high for what turned out to be a very ordinary meal. Yes, the linen and crockery are pretty, but these days you need a lot more than that.

All Bar One (Canary Wharf)
The setting, food and wine is great (Get a seat outside on a summer's evening if you can) but the usual All Bar One problems of inadequate smoke handling and over amplified music on busy evenings can make an evening inside feel too frenetic. Bar staff seem stretched, too.
