Five of us visited this restaurant before Christmas. Personally, I was rather surprised at the prices, even for free range/organic meat. One slice of beef (albeit it quite thick) and one small Yorkshire for £17, with vegetables extra, seems steep to me. All the food was delicious, although the carrots in honey were far too honeyed and sweet. The service left a lot to be desired, and I waited so long for the cheese plate (again, small for the money), that we had to call the manager. He sorted it immediately, and was very gracious. All in all: good but pricey, and, hopefully, the service has been sharpened up.
