Clos Maggiore

I took my girlfriend here for a special occasion. We sat at the rear of the restaurant in the conservatory which is a fabulous setting. The food was excellent, my girlfriend had the rabbit to start followed by the wild mushroom tagliatelle, whilst I had scallops to start followed by the cod. All of our dishes were excellent and the portion sizes very generous, so much that we didn't have room for dessert. We washed the meal down with a few glasses of the house red which was absolutely delicious. I ordered a coffee at the end which was accompanied by a slate tile of 6 home made chocolates and miniature cakes. They were scrummy and just enough to feed our sweet tooth at the end of the meal. This restaurant is an absolute gem and we will definitely be going back.
