Chez Bruce

We went to Chez Bruce for a Friday birthday lunch. We really enjoyed the whole experience - the food was brilliant, the sommelier and wine fantastic and we left discussing when we would return. Lunch in particular is great value, £23.50 for 3 courses. The magic of Chez Bruce is that is it essentially a neighbourhood restaurant, and you just have to look around the tables to see the truth in that. While some people are food tourists, the majority of people were there for good food and great service.

Two of us had tagliatelle with rabbit, pork croquettes, lamb shank with pilaf and various condiments, guinea fowl, chocolate pudding, cheese plate (amazing), a bottle of good Australian sparkling, beer, wine, dessert wine and coffee for £124 including service charge. Great value
