This is the most bizarre restaurant I have ever seen. The owner wanted to make an "Alice in Wonderland" for adults so I guess that's why one of the toilet cubicles in the ladies is shaped like a mushroom and Alice is on the wall beside you watching you do your business!!
The food was really very nice, although a little pricey, but at least there was a decent selection of reasonably priced wine (from £15). Our waiter took great delight in explaining the quality of their meat and where it is sourced and was keen to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. One of the waitresses didn't seem to know what she was doing but it was all quite harmless.
I knew that each booth had it's own cd player but I didn't even think to bring my own music selection. We were able to choose a cd from the restaurant but I would recommend you bring your own along.
As for the smoking, there were plenty of signs around the place indicating that the no smoking ban was not in place at this establishment. As a non-smoker I didn't really think that is a wise decision, but I knew before I sat down so I had nothing to compain about it.
As a couple, we had a fun, pleasant evening but I think the setting would be more suitable for a group, particularly if you can get the rotating table underneath the huge gorgeous chandalier.

I visited the Pizza Paradiso on Titchfield St near Oxford Circus for lunch. I have been before and liked it but this time found it over-priced and so busy staff could not provide good service. I had a pizza and the toppings were quite bare - only 3 olives! I was disappointed.
