Ciao Bella

Love this place. Some of the waiters can be a little snippy but it somehow does not matter as the food is wonderful (don't know what it is called but the seafood spaghetti baked in a huge greaseproof bag is amazing) Brave outside, with the exterior heaters for a lovely, winter dining treat.

Mildred's

I have been twice to this place and I certainly wont be back.

Sat at a tiny table with my partner and was asked by a very curt waitress 'do you mind sharing a table?' I said I did actually mind as I was feeling cramped already. She then got highly agitated and said 'we have a policy that you have to share' I asked why she bothered to ask if I minded then. The main problem was the attitude of the staff. I felt on edge the whole meal. Cant really remember the food as a result.

I was dragged back by a pal and sat right by the door a few months later and was amazed as some members of a large party were told (with no apology) they could not be seated until all the party was present, so the couple (with a child) waited in the street! Shocking. I was almost tempted to say they could sit with us until the rest of them arrived

I don't need to be fawned over but a smile would be good.

Such a shame as veggie places are so rare
