Charlotte's Place

The problem with Charlotte's Place - as you can tell from these reviews - is that it's erratic. We've had some decent meals there but also one or two very mediocre ones; the service has been sometimes very pleasant and efficient, but at other times offhand, incompetent and verging on the rude. So we've stopped going there because unpredictability isn't acceptable at these prices and with these aspirations (I nearly said pretensions).
