Gaylord Restaurant
Is the restaurant with the lowest score on the entire site? Just a thought.

Toffs
No question about it, this is a friendly place to eat. The staff are great and they try really hard. It’s nearly always busy and there is a good positive ‘buzz’ about the atmosphere. There is however a but and for me it’s a big but, what with me being a regular eater of fish. The fish dishes, although beautifully cooked are in a word, bland. There is little other than the shape to differentiate between the cod, the halibut or the plaice. This has happened on 3 successive occasions. A pity really. So nearly right in every respect bar this. I’ll give them a try again later in the year.

Presumably the previous entry is meant to be ironic, right?

Deeyar
Hard to overpraise really. Terrific value. Spotlessly clean. Great value. Very nice genuine owner. Do NOT miss.

Melati (Peter Street)
Surely the best value lunch in Central London. A bit cafe-like, but unpretentious.

Bombay Spice
Consistently outstanding. Now the 3rd place winner of the House Of Commons "Tiffin Club" award for most authentic Indian restaurant in the UK. Spotlessly clean, big portions and great value.
