Citrus

My boyfriend took me here a few weeks back, as a Friday night treat.

I was pleasantly surprised! It is cosy and on a Friday night it was quite busy, but the staff were still super friendly and took great care of us, despite having a little bit of a run around.

The food was fantastic; I especially loved my chicken liver starter, and my boyfriend's horseradish salmon for main. I had the smoked chicken risotto and loved the big flavours with lots of parmesan.

I can't believe the bad comments from Matteo here, we must have gone to different restaurants! I must admit I am not Italian, but I love Italian food, and although this place is not a traditional Italian with red and white chequered tablecloths, the food we had was beautifully prepared with great flavours. Perhaps I was just lucky? Well, I am going back with some girlfriends in a couple of weeks, and I’ll let you know =)

Tuk Tuk Thai Noodle Bar

Cheap, uncomplicated, well cooked and fantastic value for money OK, so maybe not the greatest venue style-wise, but for a quick bite on the way out (on on the way home) it is unbeatable!

Fast and efficient service.

Boulevard Dining Room

I went here in the beginning of the year with 5 friends, and had a fantastic time. We ate from the £15 menu, and found the portions to be of a decent size, and overall well cooked and well flavoured. What really threw me was the fanstic service! we had an Australian waitress who was one of the best i have seen! Funny, friendly and accommodating, but not intrusive.

We had a great evening, and I would definitely go back!

Stanza Restaurant & Late Night Bar

I went here with friends a few weeks back, and I have mixed feelings about the place...

The food was great, well cooked and well combined, though the menu was rather small.

The service however was very up and down. When we were served by the lady (manager?) everything was spot on, but as soon as she left the room,. so did all semblance of service. The other waiters were uninterested, did not know what they were serving (the ice-cream flavours changed depending on who you asked, and they could not explain menu items), and not once did they check back to see how we were doing. We waited for a new bottle of wine for 15min, and then had to remind the waiter (who was too busy chatting with the bartender to see us waving).

All in all, I am sure that you can have a great night here, but we left rather dissapointed.
