Smollensky's on the Strand

Good service, good beer and decent food . Good decor and comfy leather seats .

We went to watch a world cup match on the big screen but we were also tempted to try a burger , which was very good , as was the Stella Artois !. No complaints from us .

Would definitely return to try something else from the menu if not just for a good pint !.

Thai Pot

Food and service were excellent .

Sharing starter platter followed by "Weeping Tiger" sirloin steak and beef in oyster sauce all superb. Service prompt and efficient by very friendly staff. But no draught beer which is a shame and the drinks could be better all round.

A good meal that could have been great if the drinks had matched the food.

Would return though !.
