The Ritz Restaurant
This is absolutely a place you have to have been to for afternoon tea.
Everything breathes grandeur, the rooms, the furniture, the staff, the guests.
The afternoon tea experience I would call it.
Although there is a dress code, and the ambience is calm and distinguished, I felt at ease.
The food was exquisite, the finger sandwiches, the scones, the cream, the strawberry jam, the pastries, the tea itself; everything was first quality.
I enjoyed this treat very much, and I will surely go back to The Ritz whenever I go to London.

The Promenade at The Dorchester
We went to the Dorchester for a nice cup of afternoon tea and we weren't disappointed.
The service was impeccable. The tea was excellent. The finger sandwiches were really good.
The scones were a bit dry and the cream was too thick. The pastries were very good, especially the Dorchester chocolate treat.
