The Lobster Pot

Some of those reviews are.....Interesting ! I am French living in London for the last 30 years (married to a lovely British woman). I am going out to a restaurant at at least twice a week because of my work....So I can say that I know about food, wine, and service in a restaurant.

I am a regular at The Lobster Pot for the last 5 years, I never had a bad meal !

Many time I had the 8 course surprise Menu, and I have enjoyed it every time.

The service is very casual but professional....not like in a "star" restaurant, where the waiter will "instruct" you not to drink red wine with fish for example !!!

Because of it's decor and it's "kitch" ambience, The Lobster Pot transport you somewhere outside London...it is a dream.

The quality of the ingredients used and the skills of the Chef are second to none.

And yes it take a bit of time to be cooked, and yes it is not cheap, but it worth every single penny I spent so far with them.

I'll be back again and again...until they retire !.....and if some other people don't like this place, it is fine with me, I will hate to be seated at a table next to them.
