Covent Garden Grill
Found this restaurant with my niece while walking around in the rain before going to the theatre.
Lovely. Service was great, food was lovely and plentiful. We both chose from the fixed menu, which was excellent value. My grilled chicken was succulent and tasty, my neice's haddock and chips was crispy on the outside and moist inside.
I am happy the heavens opened or I probably would not have ventured inside.

Porters English Restaurant
I have worked locally for years and never been to Porters until a friend insisted; I had always resisted, looks touristy. I should have gone before.
I had a proper minced beef and vegetable pie, sitting proud on the plate and just the right amount of ooze when I cut into it. Granted it was a special pie for the day, but my friend has a steak and kidney pudding from the normal menu and he was very satisfied.
It did have tourists in but I also heard alot of English accents.
I will return to try a non-special dish.

Masala Zone (Covent Garden)
Was only half full when we went. The service was fast and efficient. Had a mixed plate and enjoyed all of it. I will definitely go back.

Lupita Central
Ate here with three others last Tuesday, it was busy and had a lively atmosphere; too busy for them to cope with I'd say. I could see that everyone was going at full steam but it took 45 minutes to get starters, which for us was too long.
The food was good but the guacamole needed seasning.
I will give it another go but will try when quieter.
