The Betjeman Arms (St Pancras)

Went with my friend on a Sat evening about 7.30pm . It was lovely the food was tasty and plent y of it . I had duck liver on toast followed by lamb hot pot and rubharb crumble to finish and enjoyed it all . My friend said he had a nice meal as well ,For the 2 of us with wine and coffe it came to just over £70 so decent value as there was plenty of it . Ther service was friendly and helpful and I would def go back .They even e-mailed me to ask my opinion of it .

Tandis

Never eaten Persian before so not entirely sure what to expect . It wasn't bad. The soup ( spinich beans and noodles ) was quite nice and the persian flat bread with it was lovely, Had a double kebab ( chicken and lamb with plain rice ) to follow , the kebabs were pretty good ( lamb one really nice, chicken ok ) but didn't really go with the plian rice , not enough contrast in taste . Had a glass of wine and thought the value was ok , just could have been a little bit more interesting but glad I went.
