Da Mario

Overall a good experience - we wanted a fairly quick Pre-Theatre meal and booked in here for about 5:30ish. We turned up at 5:45, and left shortly before 7 having managed a full 3 course, but not feeling rushed.

It is obviously a well known secret as was full of pre-theatre folk, including some people who obviously use it regularly.

Starter of Stuffed baby squid was good, main course of pasta was very good - having been to various parts of Italy - including Sicily - I can confirm it tasted authentic.

Less enamoured with the desserts, but nothing wrong with them, just not that exciting.

Would return - cost was 60 odd quid for 3 course plus a beer and a bottle of the house white. About what I expected and fair value.

@foodepedia Pretty bright and sticky over here but not as wet as we thought. Enjoy the heatwave!
