I just don't get the rave reviews this restaurant gets. It was ok but no more. dishes that sounded tempting on the menu turned out to be bland; where was the crab in the crab raviolo or the apricot and cinnamon in the ice cream that went by that name. A pea and broad bean soup with summer truffle appeared to be showered in truffle but there was no truffle flavour and only a hint of broad bean.

We counted 7 staff serving in an average to small sized room. Perhaps they had too little to do but they fussed around constantly topping up wine, water and bread despite us asking them not to. However when it came to coffee decaf. was not available and we waited nearly 10 minutes for one espresso.

A very ordinary experience.
