Guglee (Finchley Rd)

We went here with my family for pre-theatre meal before going hampstead theatre

I liked this place, it has a funky vibe to it, full of mostly Young Professionals... The staff are very attentive and cool.

I heard about guglee from my friends who live in local they told this place is highly recommended so we thought we should give it a try.

we told the staff we need to go for theatre and we got our food in time

love the street food which was "sev puri" my girlfriend had a seekh kabab, aloo chat all the stater were mouth watering highlight was "sev puri"

for 2nd course we had lamp chops, butter chicken & sea bass (machli nazakat) with some rice & naan everything was perfect.

The food ive go as far as saying it is one of the best indian food joints in northwest London, fresh, tasteful and all the spice seemed to be balanced incredibly well.

Looking forward to returning soon.

Park Room & Library

I'm a huge fan of afternoon tea and this didn't disappoint. The service was very good, attentive without being oppressive, food is unbelievable and not short on quantity, couldn't eat all the cakes there are that many

Not cheap, but worth the cost. Will go again

overall 10/10 star Great experience .

Kensington Roof Gardens

This is a really unlikely club at the top of a building just off Kensington High Street. True to the name, the biggest selling point by far are the brilliant gardens that surround the main club bit with its dance floor and bars. Especially in the better weather they can be really nice, lots of tables around little lawns, water features, BBQ and atmospheric lighting. Particularly when the band is playing outside and the pagoda wine bar is in full force it can feel like you're attending a wedding at a fancy hotel somewhere. It's nice but it is very civilised, a bit too civilised for a night out that you might have been hoping could end up anyway. The music inside is distinctly average and the crowd concentrated in here can be quite pretentious and maybe a bit too safe. The gardens really are special but as a club I'd avoid it unless it's a beautiful evening and/or you feel like a night out that you know exactly how it'll end up before it's even started. If you do go, be prepared to spend big, but its worth it we will be back
