Rasa Sayang
The message and review below is directed more towards the Management of Rasa Sayang Restaurant.
As with most Malaysian Restaurants is this part of town, they all started well but gradually slide down the scale and eventually close down. I have lived in London for 35 years and this restaurant is beginning to show signs of falling into that slippery slope if the management does nothing to improve the consistency of its food, the ambience and services. I hasten to add the food was delicious but of late, it has become very inconsistent both in taste, quality and portion.
My last three meals there were disappointing. The beef rendeng was extremely salty and there was no prawns in my "char keow teow' - only 4 wafer thin slices of fish balls, one piece of squid and very greasy 'keow teow' . I have to say it was quite delicious minus all the essential ingredients. Come on - give us good food and stop cutting back. Customers will just go somewhere else and will not put up with this nonsense. We go to restaurants to enjoy and relax. Until all these faults have been improved to woo me back, I will meanwhile use other restaurants and customers are spoilt for choice in the West End & Soho area.
I hope this message is a "Wake Up Call" to the management. My friends who frequent this restaurant are of the same opinion so I cannot be all that wrong.
