Mala Restaurant

Me and my family went to Mala on Saturday 24th September 2011. We had booked online to make reservation and had asked for window table. Unfortunately the waiter just directed us to table away from window, so we were disappointed with that. Also we ordered poppadums and drinks and the drinks were served first. Then had starter but before that came we had more drinks as the waiting time was excessive. We arrived for meal at 8pm and finished food at 10pm. We must have waited for an hour from our starter to the main course arriving. We were being asked "do you want another drink" more times than I care to remember. We felt that this was the reason for the big gaps. Also the portion size for starters wasnt good in relation to the price of it. However the main course was lovely and we cant fault the main courses on the 3 times we have been there. But the service has deteriorated and the starter portion sizes has too.
