Sakura

Visited the new location of Sakura tonight at conduit st, to my disbelief the chicken bento set has increased it's price from £10 to £14. this is unbelievable!

I have been a frequent customer at Hanover sq, where the service was much better, and prices were more reasonable.

I had ordered crab salad- and found the rice to be less sticky than normal. I can only guess that they have decided to use a cheaper chinese rice as an alternative. So i rate this dish to be less satisfactory and disappointing.

It seems that with the new location, the standard of the food has dropped drastically! for the crab salad, i was SHOCKED to discover the price increasing to £8.40, from previous £6.40.

For a price increase but without any increase in food portion, i felt cheated!

the deco feels more western and less authentic.

Overall i have now been turned away from going back to Sakura, with the sky high increase in prices and service.

Sady, i will have to say that the price increase isn't justified at all.

Just because it's now at a posher location, facing Vivenne westwood, the management has seem to taken the chance of increasing the prices unreasonably.
