Mint Leaf
My wife and I came here as I told her about this brilliant display of cocktail bar. As we came with a toddler, we weren't allowed to be in the bar and if we do decide to go in to dining area then we have to dine in (fair point). As it was just before xmas, i thought why not!
Staff - we had 2 waitresses who attended us and may i say they were brilliant, friendly and had some point looked after our toddler. I do consider them friendly compared to other places i have been.
Cocktail - Again, another brilliant service. We had 3 different cocktails, recommended by the staff, all within £10 and both my wife and I enjoyed them as they were uniquely different.
Food - Our biggest disappointment. I have eaten in many indian restaurants, less profilic than this one but with better quality, taste and flavours. Crab cakes had almost 95% fish and 5% crab (if any exists). Lamb chops was nice, meaty and pink. Mains - paneer masala wasnt exciting. To put it bluntly, even my son spat out the paneer masala we ordered, and i know he loves his paneer dishes! It was so mediocre, that you could get better quality from smaller restaurants at half the price. Black peppered venison was good. The pricing doesn't make sense either. For instance paneer masala costs £16 and black peppered venison cost £18. £2 more for meat, and the quantity of meat was more than the paneer. We had panacotta for dessert, and that too was disappointing. It wasnt set nicely and the flavours were all over the place.
Money spent for one portion of rice, one nan bread, 2 starters and 2 mains and 3 cocktails - about £100+ (before service), cocktails was about £30 total.
All in all, I would drink here, but not eat here. I would say go there for an experience, but be prepared to spend £100 for 2 ppl.

The Royal Elephant (Potters Bar)
Brilliant place - the outlook doesnt look appealing and maybe thats why I havent been to this place despite working nearby for last 3 years! Took 9 people to this place for lunch feast - though it was one waitress handling the whole place, she did it very well. Lunch food was brilliant!! We had chicken wings, spring rolls, vegetable tempuras - everything was delicious.
The portions on mains was enough - and they too were delicious. To be honest, I dont have anything negative to comment about this place. Prices are all reasonable. Would highly recommend.
