The Fat Duck

Another restaurant experience which I loved but has polarised reviews.

My girlfriend treated us both to the Tasting Menu for my 40th.

Everything was great, the service was impeccable. The food is an absolute delight in it's assault on your senses.

We were welcomed and told to relax and enjoy the experience from the off, each course was beautifully presented and explained in a courteous manner.

Funnily enough as each course was brought out everyone in the restaurant took of photo of their plate (including ourselves)

We could barely moved after the food and opted to take our 'Sweetie Bag' course home to eat.

All in all a well worthwhile experience, we'd both happily go again.

Pham Sushi

I've been to Pham on numerous occasions over the past 7-8 years and the place has never ever disappointed.

The Scallops in a Spicy creamy sauce are to die for.

The Crispy Tuna Rolls are the nearest thing to Willy Wonka Japanese food you'll ever taste.

The White tuna with asparagus in the Chef's special sauce rocks!

As do the Tempura Rock Shrimp and Baby Squid tentacles....and definitely try the Clear Soup.

But do book, it's small and it gets busy

Fifteen London (Restaurant)

I feel compelled to write due to the polarity of the reviews.

Took a party of 4 to the Restaurant on a Tuesday night and have to say that the food was fantastic.

As a group we all had a nibble of one another's plate, for starters Burratta, Prosciutto and 2x Crab bruschetta were ordered. They came out promptly and the crab won the round but they all tasted great.

For mains our party had a Fisherman's stew, a lamb and 2x Pork - again all the dishes were brought out with great service and they all tasted fantastic.

My pork dish was served with the most incredible dauphinoise potatoes and pesto, the dish was superb!

By which point we were all stuffed so we skipped desert - shame.

All in all I can't fault the place, the food was great, the service was attentive and the place was rammed.

Top marks and I'd happily go again and again!
