Busan

Apparently this place has just reopened. Didn't go to it before but popped in on Friday night with friends after seeing something about it somewhere. As it's local I wanted to give it a go & it's a great addition to holloway road offerings.

We had starters & main as the desserts didn't look very exciting. Starters of aubergine in sesame, dumplings, edamame & kimchi were really delicious. aubergine & the dumplings were the tastiest. the kimchi was good but I'd have liked a lot more. It was deliciously hot though. Main courses were bimimbap, seafood pancakes, chilli chicken & beef bulgogi were all great.

Service was friendly if a bit erratic at times but quite charming. Air con on in January made it a bit cold. Overall really enjoyable meal, some faults & bit of a lack of atmosphere as it was only a third full - on a friday night; but the food was excellent & fairly good value. We ate a lot & it turned out at £20 a head. Will definitely be back as all the food was good & it's got a lot of interesting dishes on a fairly extensive menu.
