Jom Makan (Westfield)

I'm not the type of person to check reviews before heading to a resaurant. In fact, I didnt check them. But I had such a good experience with Jom Makan that I thought I'd review them on it, and wow am I surprised by the horribel reviews!

I first was seated at a table of my request by a friendly american(?) girl, who chatted me up once she heard my accent. It was nice to see someone in the service industry actually make conversation, as I havent experienced that since Ive been in London. I was informed that it was the first day with the new menu, and was given an apology that it didnt match the one outside that I was looking at, but assured its new and improved.

The food was amazing. The girl recommended a chinese-sounding noodle dish, which was delicious. She even talked me into trying a strange green malaysian pancake with ice cream for dessert, which was great too!

I cant imagine having an experience that the previous horrible reviews are talking about. They must be changing their ways.
