Bistro Union

Three of us had dinner on Thursday evening,. The restaurant was very busy, but the manageress recognised us from Trinity and with a minimum of fuss did some juggling and managed to squeeze us in. The pre-dinner cocktails were delicious. The cover charge which seemed to include unlimited still and sparking water was a good idea. As we were drinking different wine, we went with the 500ml carafes, which were excellent. Our three starters were superb. My wife and I had the roast chicken for two, which again was absolutely delicious. My son felt his toad in the hole was bit rich - batter too heavy but this was more a 8/10 rather than a disaster. One knickerbocker glory which again was brilliant. Service throughout was also excellent.
