Little Sicily

Not worth even one star.

I had an absolutely appalling experience at Little Sicily last night on the 3rd March 2012.

I had been to eat there several times and the food was average, but I had been emailed a Birthday Promotion so I thought I would give it another try. There was no expiry date nor voucher code just an email that offered 50% off the a la carte menu and a bottle of Prosecco on the house. Thinking this was a fantastic deal I booked in for a meal.

I was treated with disdain by the rude staff who questioned how I could prove that I wouldn’t just keep coming back and claim the same deal over again. She said she couldn’t give me the deal and had to get her manager, already mortified I got the email up on my phone to show the manager, but we had already decided we didn’t want to stay after being treated so badly.

The manager took my phone and said actually we expect people to use this deal within a week of their birthday- as it is over a week since your birthday you cannot use this deal and DELETED THE EMAILS OUT OF MY PHONE!!!!!! Unbelievable. I was so enraged by the sheer arrogance and rudeness of this man.

I will never go back there again and I can tell you the food is less than average anyway, the staff horribly rude and the management are running this restaurant like a cash cow. Vouchers and cheap food. No care for their customers experience or whether they come back and recommend the place- its a revolving door, get in, pay, get out. Disgusting.

An awful experience. Go to Zizzi instead if you want good value italian restaurant with pleasant staff and decent food.
