Reema Balti House

Having visited a few curry houses on Brick Lane over the years I came across Reema a couple months ago and have to say I was not disappointed and it may just have jumped to the top of my list!

The staff were courteous and knowledgeable and the food served was good quality traditional indian food. There was a huge array of choice and the value of all dishes was very reasonable.

It is certainly worth a visit.

Osteria dell'Arancio

I went here a little while back with my girlfriend on a groupon expecting to have an average meal but I was so very wrong! The staff were attentive and fully informed us of what was included and so we set about trying to decide what to have!

I have to say we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. You can tell that the restaurant takes great pride in serving up authentic italian food and it was almost like being in their home. If anything I do not think the groupon gave me the chance to fully appreciate the whole menu (hence slightly lower VFM score) but a repeat visit is certainly on the cards!

An excellent place and thank you to groupon for helping me discover it!

Terra

Had dinner at Terra the other week with my brother and my girlfriend and will certainly be going back!

The dishes were of a great quantity and quality as well! The service was one of the best I have ever encountered. We were made to feel so welcome and a wonderful night was had.

We could not fault any of the dishes and the only issue we encountered was that they undercharged us, forgetting to add on a bottle of wine but the food and service was so good and the bill reasonable that we pointed out the mistake only to then be given a voucher for a free bottle on our next visit :)

Verru

Had an excellent dinner at Verru with my girlfriend! The setting was intimate and lovely and the food exceptional. It is a true gem this one but you must book to avoid being disappointed! It is not cheap but is certainly worth the money as your dishes are both stunning to look at and delicious! The service was very good but watch your head on the way to the toilet!

Que Viet

Having eaten here last night I felt compelled to review the restaurant! I was dining with someone who had travelled all around Vietnam and both her and I thought the food was excellent. The dishes were of a good size and the service was quick and attentive and the meal came out very reasonably priced! Having had not so good Vietnamese before I am thrilled I found one I will return to!
