We went last night for my husbands birthday. The service wasn't just slow it was only the wine waiter that seemed to know what he was doing. We waited a ridiculous amount of time in between courses and the food was no better than a high street chain. There was no ambiance at all. I felt like we were in a third world country trying to be English..... It needs a shake up. Our wine bill was £450 for two bottles of wine and we expected the food to match.... A bottle from Tescos would have matched better.
