Gow's Restaurant

Like the previous review, I am bemused that some of the comments below are negative. We were welcomed with a smile, served quickly and efficiently and left feeling satisfied after a great experience.

I have been before a while back with an ex, so it was a bit weird to go back with the new one in tow! The restaurant itself looks like it has been spruced up a bit, lots of candles, quite light and friendly feeling, and with a much larger selection on the menu than I remember from before. We shared starters of lovely plump oysters and scallops wrapped in parma ham with a chilli dressing (absolutely amazing!).

Then I had Thai monkfish which was full of flavour and the boyfriend had a HUGE portion of cod and chips which was cooked just right.

Overall very impressed and would definitely return - hopefully not with someone else!!!
