Haz (Premier Place)

I went to Haz with a couple of friends on a Saturday lunchtime, and I was very impressed with the place. The best thing about Haz is the food. The chicken soup I had was meaty and delicious, and the chicken shish was perfectly spiced and very tasty. My friends also said that their dishes were excellent. The service was perfect, with just the right balance between attentiveness and privacy, and the gap between each course was about right as well. There were not many people around when I went, which is not suprising given that most of the City closes down over the weekend, and I am sure that there is more of a bubblier atmosphere during the week. Haz is also very good value for money by London standards, with a two-course meal with wine and coffee coming to about £20 per head. I would strongly recommend Haz, and it is one of the few restaurants in London that I would actively try to return to.
