Belgo Centraal

As long as you accept that you will probably never be one of the lucky mysterious few who manage to book a table here, this place is great. Delicious food, especially the moules and a good selection of Belgian beers. We only had to wait a short while in the bar upstairs at prime time on a Saturday night and when our friends were late the clipboard guy was very fair and let us sit down as soon as they arrived rather than putting us back at the bottom of the list. It's great value for money and perfect for a cheap lunch (they have a £5 deal) or a pre-drinking munch.

Neal Street Restaurant

Having eaten here many times myself and loved the food I booked my boss and some colleagues a table for an informal dinner. High praise all round for the venue, the food and wine - and of course my impeccable taste!!! Great for a tasty Italian meal pre-theatre and a pleasant haven from Neal St and the Covent Garden bustle.

The Zetter Restaurant & Rooms

I LOVE this place. I was taken here for my birthday by friends and we had a geat Sunday lunch. One person was allowed to have two brunch options for their meal as they couldn't decide what to have and the roasts that we ordered (lamb and pork) were delicious. The restaurant itself is light, airy and funky and the staff are all suitably good looking and charming. Seating is well spaced and comfortable and there is a great choice of wine. A particularly unusual sorbet flavour of vodka and black pepper went down very well with some good coffee. Not particularly cheap but worth it for the fabulous food.

Busaba Eathai (Store St)

Of the Busaba's I like the Store Street one the best, it is slightly less cramped but maintains the bustly, warm atmosphere of the others. The food is - without exception - fantastic. Having travelled widely in Asia my boyfriend and I can confidently say that this is the best Thai we have eaten outside Thailand! The curries are all delicious but the sides are worthy of note as well, particularly the calamari and the roti. The staff are cheery and efficient and it is a great 'after work' good value place to catch up with friends.
