C London

Had lunch here. It was good without being brilliant. My partner had a chicken salad and to be honest it was like something I could make myself at home(And trust me I am not a good cook by any stratch of the imagination!) Bland and tasteless. I had the lamb chops which were ok. Nothing to write home about mind you. The dessert - Tiramisiu was to die for. The waiter said it was the best in London and you know he might be right! The nice lady and gent at the door were absolutely lovely as was the waiter that brought the dessert. As for the other 2 that we had dealings with....not goo I'm afraid. They really looked like 2 people who really did not want to be there they were so grumpy. The waiter that took our order was to return to take our Wine order but never returned. I could have called him again but the list was on the table so he new we would have liked some wine and also he returned to the table with starter bread etc and it never occured to him to ask if we had decided on our wine. I said to my partnet "Lets see how long it will take him to actually come onad take our wine order"? How Long ? Well I could still be sitting there and he wouldn't have come to our table to take the order. The wine list was removed from our table by our dessert waiter! Well sure their loss I said as they lost in the region of STg50/60. Lovely restaurant decore wise with a nice atmosphere I felt. Food was a bit overpriced for what it was. But the dessert will stay with me forever

Went on Saturday night. What an experience. Absolutely fantastic. ian a word"awesome". Friendly staff, efficient service, unbelieveable food, great champagne, chocolate bento box to die for all washed down with a nice port. It is definitely in the top 3 of any restaurants that I have ever eaten anywhere in the world. Will go back everytime I am in London for sure. Its even nearly worth popping in for a short stay just to eat there. Unreal! Ok there was one or 2 celebs there on the night which may have been distracting for some people but sure whats the big deal. They gotta eat too you know!
